ABOUT – VOLUNTEERING MATTERS
CSV re launched as Volunteering Matters, a national charity leading UK volunteering in policy and practice. They asked us for a short film for their website that showed the enormous range of work they do across the UK and wanted us to demonstrate how investing in people through volunteering can reduce inequalities and isolation to build stronger inclusive communities.
We shot in Norfolk, Cardiff, Hackney, Lewisham and a few places in between over 4 days and created a film for their website as well as 6 shorter films featuring contributors. We had an amazing time meeting their volunteers and it has inspired the whole team at Violet Productions to see how we can do some volunteering when we put our cameras down.
