jay hunt – founder & CEO
Jay is an industry expert and as well as being hands overseeing all Violet Production content since 2008, she is the Number One Smartphone video coach in the UK. Jay has worked in tv and video for over 30 years and as a producer and director for BBC1, ITV1, Sky and Channel 4.
She co-presented series for BBC2 and BBC3, worked as a celebrity stylist and has written three books.

MARC CAYFORD – DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Marc started working as a camera assistant over 20 years ago at the BBC. Learning his trade on film and digital, he has many years experience as a freelance DOP and has worked on everything from Songs of Praise, Panorama, short films and is a favourite with Coca Cola, Samsung and DHL winning awards along the way. Marc adds creativity to the simplest of shots and shoots on an FS7.

JACK TAYLOR – CAMERAMAN
Jack is a freelance cameraman who is popular with our clients, shooting on his FS7 and also shoots stills. He has done extensive work for Greenpeace campaigns, consistently works on a wide range of productions from television drama, documentaries and music videos as well as shooting brilliant interview campaigns for various commercial and financial organisations.

NOEL LE BON – SOUND OPERATOR
Once a technical evangelist and trainer in the world of computer networks (a world he still occasionally teleports to) Noel started his career as an actor for more than 15 years. He then decided to work behind the scenes and the last 18 years have seen him in demand as a sound operator and an expert in operating camera, autocue, jib and dollies for bigger shoots.

RICHARD POTTS – EDITOR
Richard works out of Ace Post Production and edits in Avid to create our innovative and creative films. When not working for us, he works extensively on BBC output including Later . . . with Jools Holland, Glastonbury and The Proms. His experience and input is an integral part of establishing the visual style synonymous with the ethos of Violet Productions today.
